Ballet & Pointe

BALLET

Our ballet program is designed to give our dancers the fundamentals of correct classical ballet technique.  Ballet is the foundation of all other dance genres and is important to developing the discipline required to dance.  Students will embrace the beauty of this traditional style of dance in a nurturing environment.  

Attire:  Black Leo/Pink Tights/Canvas Ballet Shoes.  Hair must be secured neatly in a bun.

Classes are available for dancers ages 2 - 18 years. 

PRE POINTE / POINTE

Pointe technique is the part of classical ballet in which a ballet dancer supports all body weight on the tips of fully extended feet within pointe shoes.   There are several factors that go into determining the readiness of a dancer to go on pointe such as age, experience, strength and alignment.  Our ballet instructors will work with students interested in dancing on pointe to determine the readiness of each dancer on an individual basis.  

Attire:  Black Leo/Pink Tights/Approved Pointe Shoes.  Hair must be secured neatly in a bun.

Classes require teacher approval
