Beginning June 1st, Downtown Dance and Performing Arts Centre will begin phases of reopening. The following safety precautions will be in place until further notice for the health and well-being of the entire studio:
Staff:
- Must wear masks at all times in the building
- Must wash hands immediately upon entering the building, and continue washing/sanitizing frequently throughout classes
- Maintain social distancing of 6 feet
- Grids will be marked on floor to ensure proper distancing
- Please bring your own water bottles, water cooler will not be accessible at this time
- Studio, lobby, bathrooms etc will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between each class of children
Students:
- Masks are not required for students under age 10, but allowed if preferred
- Must wash hands immediately upon entering the building, and continue washing/sanitizing frequently throughout classes
- Maintain social distancing of 6 feet at all times (grids will be marked on floor to help ensure this)
- Please make sure hair is pulled back securely and discourage dancers from touching their own face at any time while in the studio
- Change from street shoes to dance shoes upon entry
- Please bring your own water bottles, the water cooler will not be accessible at this time
- We ask that all parents, siblings, etc remain in their cars at this time. If something is needed from the office staff, we are always accessible by phone/email and can set up a meeting if necessary
